Certbot – Alternative tool for enabling HTTPS protocol

Many hosting providers have internal tools to enable HTTPS on your website. Therefore easiest way to enable is one provided by the host. If your hosting provider is not providing HTTPS, probably it is not up to date in terms of both hardware as well as software. In such case, I would suggest to search for alternative hosting provider. However, if you wish to stay with same hosting provider, Certbot can be the solution.

Certbot is a free, open source software tool for automatically using Let’s Encrypt certificates on manually-administrated websites to enable HTTPS.
